VIGO - Story coming

Original story, Oct 2014: Vico came to rescue from a local shelter. He was not a happy dog due to untreated allergies. Vico had scratched himself bloody, had a bacterial infection from the broken and untreated skin, could barely see due to crusty skin around his eyes, and was too thin. With proper allergy treatment, a change to a quality grain free food, and rubs with coconut oil he looks like a different dog. Vico is 7 years old, he is a very tall boy (over standard) and all legs. He should weigh about 70 lbs when filled out. Vico defies all breed information about high energy - this boy goes from dog bed to dog bed and is about as low key a dog as I have ever met. He loves to come lay his head in your lap for a good rub. He may get on the couch to curl up with you - you need a big couch! He is not the dog park type, nor is he a running partner. A stroll around the block on lead would be his style. He is house trained, crate trained, neutered, up to date on shots, micro-chipped, and well mannered. Vico would do best as an only dog and he will need allergy management and quality grain free food. Are you his retirement home?
