In January we were contacted about a litter of Vizsla/Border Collie mix puppies in the Boise ID area. Mamma was a beautiful Border Collie who didn't quite make it in for her spay surgery in time and they came home one day to find the neighbor's unaltered Vizsla inside the 8-ft high chainlink run. Mamma Jenny has since been spayed.

Austin is one lucky puppy to have found a home with Jenn & Ted. He also gets to have a big brother in Hogan! Jenn reports that they are inseparable buddies who sleep curled up with each other. They love to run and play in the yard and wrestle. They both go on long hikes and trail rides with the horses as well. The humans installed a doggie door for the boys but Ted is rethinking that decision a tad. During the holidays Ted was home relaxing and suddenly realized that Hogan and Austin had invited 3 of the neighbor dogs to use the doggie door and come inside their swank house to play and dine! Enjoy having a crazy duo of Vlabercollies - Park City will never be the same!

Update Jan 2005: New photos.

Aug 2013, Jenn writes:It has been way too long and I am sorry for that. I wanted to let you know that we lost Hogan just a couple weeks ago to bone cancer. It was a quick one. Ted is very upset about the loss of Hogan (he had only a week to prepare), but man did that dog have a good life. He will be missed.

Poor Austin has been the subject of much moving with me, but taking it all in stride (loyal to a fault). He is getting pretty old and has some bad arthritis in his front left elbow that really slows him down. This is a good thing as he is now an apartment dog in Portland. Other than that, he is very happy. I have attached a recent photo. I saw Mad Max passed, and was curious what from. I will be a total wreck when Austin's day comes. I talk to Kathy on occasion and hope to see Mia Pia when I go for a visit in October.I hope you are all very well, and I love that you are still taking care of the special dogs. Best, Jenn and Austin
