On July 25, 2000 we were contacted by a family needing to place their 16-month old boy, Tanner. He needed more structure and attention than his busy family with four kids could provide. He was good with kids, cats and other dogs and Penny & Frank found him to be completely housebroken and knew basic commands like sit, stay and come (although in typical 16-mo old style he did not always DO them). On Wednesday, August 2nd Frank drove Tanner to meet Mike near American Falls and he was off to his forever home in west central Wyoming with Mike and Sue. Tanner is now "little brother" to Boris 4/99 and has a home in WY where he will never run out of trails to hike and streams to run in. Boris has apparently taken Tanner under his paw and when they are not hiking with Mike and Sue the two of them make daily rounds on their 20 acre estate... in between naps on the daybed in the greenhouse room that is!
