Sonny was born 11/30/00 as Sonny A Nagy Vadasz, has an AKC pedigree, docked tail, dews off, neutered, up to date on shots, 45 lbs., 22 inches tall. Sonny came into rescue after the tragic death of his owner. A friend of the family worked to keep Sonny but they had a Weim and they did not get along. Sonny is home and people protective so needs a more quiet home with no young children. He is very devoted to those he loves and is slow to warm up to new visitors, barking and steering clear of them for the first few minutes. He needs folks who will understand and manage this and appreciate a watch dog. He shows good birdiness and hunting potential and has been in the field but is not formally trained. He has wide range but comes back to whistle. He loves to play fetch, and chew on bones. He does not like vet visits but does like car rides. He is house and crate trained. He sleeps on a doggie bed at the foot of the bed but loves to snuggle on the couch or bed if called up.

Melissa reports that Sonny has settled in just fine and is quickly becoming a family member. Proof positive of this is the cat wants to play with him. He got to visit a duck pond up in Park City this past weekend. Sonny showed his new mom and dad what a wild-man-Vizsla does to point, chase birds, and jump in the lake. Thanks for taking care of Sonny and allowing him to protect you from the world.
