Original story, Mar 2013: Rumor is an 11-yr old youngster (b. 4/16/2002), owner relinquished to a shelter after she dug out of the fenced yard and animal control caught her taking herself for a walk one too many times. She is seeking a home where she won't be left unattended in the yard and who will take her for car rides, play dates, long walks and, perhaps most important... couch snuggling. She is good with people of all ages, dogs of all sizes and, yep, cats are okay too. Rumor is up to date on the standard vax (DHPP, rabies & bordetella), has had a senior blood panel (all good), complete dental and is an active healthy 11-yr old.

Apr 10, 2013: Rumor is doing well in foster care. She's got a few quirks that probably stem from spending too much time in a kennel/run in her previous life but she's doing well on recall, getting along with the kitties and was a big hit with all at a weekend family gathering. Getting pictures has been tricky because she's afraid of the camera but we've added a few from this week's hike.

Jul 2013: Rumor found her peaceful retirement home with Kathy in the beautiful islands of northwest WA. Kathy had a vizsla long long ago and was looking for a snuggle buddy and friend to take on long walks, get along with the grand kids and resident cat. (Much thanks to Ty & Leah who drove Rumor to Seattle to meet her new mom and to all who believed in her and in vizsla adoption and made it happen.)
