Jake is an approx 1-yr old Vizsla mix with the short slick coat of a V and the color. His tail is docked shorter than a Weim, dews still on, his ears are short and "perk", his nose is chocolate brown. Jake is housetrained. Jake came into a local shelter as a stray and was never claimed. He has a great happy go lucky attitude about everything. He gets along with all the dogs at his foster home, large and small, and the cat. He loves to wrestle and play with them so we hope to find him a home with another dog. His temperament is very steady. He has caught on to routine very quickly. He loves all people and is affectionate. We think he would make a great family member, jogging partner or anything else you might ask him to be or to do. He has not been crate trained because he has been happy to hang out in the laundry room with the other dogs and go in and out via the dog door. Jake is young so he still does chew things but is not excessive.

July 2006: Riley is getting more comfortable in his crate and he has started basic clicker training classes. His new mom says he is catching on really quick and loves the treats. Riley loves the other dogs in the neighborhood. Riley is a dream dog and we are sure he feels the same way about his new dream home.
