Maggee (2-yrs) and Moglee (3-yrs) came into rescue as a result of life changing events in their human family. They had the same dam (Whistlin Dixie's Bird Buster) but different sires. Maggie b. 4/2002 and Moglee b. 9/2001. Moglee's sire was Midnight Rebel Rex.

Maggee & Moglee were well-loved and we found them to be happy, well-adjusted dogs who already made quite a team. We felt it important to place them together but, as nice as they are, it was still a challenge to find a home able and willing to take in two high energy dogs at once. About the same time Maggee & Moglee were getting settled at Penny's house, Donna in southern CA received a call from Mike who had recently lost two dogs to old age. He only inquired about adopting one vizsla but he had every intention of being a two dog family so it seemed a perfect match. Shortly after Maggee's spay surgery the two little red "monsters" hopped on board the ID to CA rescue railroad and were on their way to their new life on the beaches of sunny southern California.

Mike reports they are loving their time at the beach and the doggie park and they might even get to do a little hunting on occasion when they visit relatives in Tahoe. Welcome, Mike, to the world of vizslas and thanks for opening your heart to this lively pair of little "red monsters".

Mar 2011: Magee and Moglee are doing extremely well!

Dec 2012: You'll be happy to know Magee and Moglee are doing very well. I think they are 12 and 13 now, but still run like the wind! Their schedule is eat, sleep, play......every day. They are the best and we love them beyond belief.
