Margo came to rescue via the Humane Society of Gallatin Valley in Bozeman MT. She was well taken care of by Vickie & staff and then she hitched a ride with Troy and then with Judy to meet Rebecca in Pocatello 3/27 (many thanks!!!). She is now in foster care with the Dowdells in Salt Lake. Margo was born 12/06/96. She spent some of her life in Alaska and then was given up in MT due to a move to AZ to attend college. Margo was very thin when she entered the shelter and was treated with antibiotics. She gained nearly 15 lbs. She is a tall leggy girl at 24-25", she is now 57 pounds and about perfect weight. She is good around other dogs and children. She is crate trained and would probably be fine in the house un-crated as well. She is reportedly afraid of men in baseball caps and sunglasses but we have not seen that. She has chased the cat in her former home so might be best with no cats. She has had regular vet care over the years, teeth cleaned, and just had a complete blood panel workup. Margo is very calm in the house, loves the floor pillows to snooze on, and loves to lay in the sun in the grass. She does not beg food from humans and does not jump on the furniture. Margo will sit for treats and comes well to call. She will come up on the bed or couch when invited to snuggle and nap. Margo is looking for a home to love her through thick and thin.

Margo's home found her quickly and she will get two homes! Her new family has a home in a nice quiet little town and a cabin in the mountains to boot. Don is retired and Bob has the luck to be able to work from home. So Margo will not have to spend much time alone. Bob drove down to meet Margo and take her home. She took to him right away and when I called for an update Bob laughed and told me Margo, all 60 lbs of her, was sitting in dad's lap. So looks like she will be just fine and in typical Vizsla style is sucking up to her new family. Take good care of this gentle and sweet girl -- boy are we missing her in UT -- they don't come easy easier than Margo!
