Original story: Lily is an 8-mo purebred English pointer, b. 7/19/2008 with a FDSB birth certificate. She was owner released to rescue by her second home because she had too much energy. Both of her previous homes included children and she was raised both inside and outside so is comfortable in the house. She has typical puppy behaviors like counter surfing and chewing but she is crate trained and manageable with cats (wants to play with them but is not aggressive). Her play style with other dogs is pushy but she takes direction pretty well from older dogs and she is doing well with our pack of 5-6 vizslas & shorthairs.

Lily loves to grab a toy in her mouth on her way out the door to potty and she will also play by herself with a toy in the yard... throwing it in the air and chasing/tackling it... although she would rather have you throw it for her to retrieve to hand. She is birdy and not noise shy but has not had any hunt training, spayed, UTD on vax and microchipped. As always, our dogs must be family members first and hunters second. A home within a day's drive of Boise ID is preferred but will consider others.

Summer 2010: Lily's family reports that she is an awesome family dog, great with the kids and is as good a hunter as they could have ever dreamed for.
