Original story, Nov 2018: Harper was an unclaimed stray at Weber County Animal Control in UT. Thanks to Kaz Jackson for the heads up on this one! The shelter thought she was 2 yrs old but her microchip revealed she was closer to 4 yrs. We found her to be a very nice dog, personable, happy and outgoing. She was not crate trained, a bit of a chewer (hellooooo... puppy?) and manageable with cats.

Dec 2018: Steve and Sue were ready to add another vizsla to their lives to fill the void left when they lost their first vizsla and since they were know to Jenny this was an easy choice for all! We couldn’t think of a nicer dog to place with an experienced relaxed family and Harper didn’t even bat an eye when we Steve met us in Ontario OR to take her home to western Oregon.

Steve writes: Jenny - I went to Ontario yesterday and today, met with Penny, and picked up Harper. The trip home went well she rode great, slept most of the way. She is a beautiful dog and I fell in love with her immediately. I am so glad I checked in with you, and this all came together. Now just need to get used to having a dog in my life again. It's going to take time and patience. I do feel good about it all working out. Let you know more as time goes along. Thanks again for all your help.
