I was contacted in February of 2000 by a man in Perry, UT and he wanted to release his dog to rescue because she did not hunt well enough. Annie is 3 years old, has AKC papers, but was kept mostly as a kennel dog. List members Blayne & Karen Rawsky were interested in getting Calvin a buddy so drove to UT from CO to meet Annie. Annie spent several weeks with them but it was not a perfect match and so Rita Prindle of CO/WY rescue offered to look for a home for her. As providence would have it a co-worker's of Rita's from 15 years back looked her up to ask about a possible puppy. Rita mentioned Annie, so the family came to meet Annie. They and their young daughter instantly fell in love. Annie is now "queen" of her own family and a cherished member. Special thanks to the Rawskys and Rita for their work on getting Annie placed. You can also take a peek at Annie and her family at www.coloradovizsla.org (another service provided by Blayne).
