WILLOW

Willow, b. 10/12/2006 (sire Bo Knox Askim; dam Rose Starr of Blitz) was turned into a Boise area shelter days before Christmas 2008 because of a move to an apartment where the landlord wouldn't allow dogs her size. She passed her temperament evaluation okay but got snappy with the techs when they tried to vaccinate her so on 12/20 she came into rescue after being spayed. The holiday season is always busy for rescues and this year was no exception so, in between snow storms, Penny & Willow set out to try to make Moscow ID where there was available foster space.

She only made it as far as McCall ID where John offered to overnight her... for the rest of her life. Love at first sight and a huge grin were the order of the day when John laid eyes on her for the first time and within days she had a new name of Willow which suits her well. Willow joins Shiloh & Moses as the new "store dog" at McCall Pet Outfitters so be sure and stop in to say "hi" when you are visiting in McCall.... or look for her on the trails as she & John learn to skate ski together.
