SALLY

May 2016: Sally was surrendered, along with her chihuahua buddy, when her elderly owners had to enter a care center. She was overweight from being spoiled just a little too much but she was a happy girl and appeared to take the changes in her life in stride.

Update: Sally found a wonderful home with Judith in MT. She is an only dog for now but Judith is working through her dog-dog reactivity and working hard to socialize her as well as getting her some much needed exercise. Regular walks in the neighborhood and outings are working wonders. Judith reports Sally now looks like a vizsla with a wasteline and all!

Nov 2016, Judith writes: Svelte Sally is now 45-ish pounds. She's much calmer, not so afraid, but still dog reactive. She knows "see dog-get cookie" but if they get too close she's upset. She got a good lesson at the local dog costume party last week and was better afterward. She just never learned any self control. (Well, she's learning it now! Thank you Judith for hanging in there with Sally and giving her a second chance at life.)
