SABER
Early in June I got a phone message about a dog that needed to be placed as
he was too strong from the family. By the time I called them a day later
them had taken him to the shelter. I went and bailed him out and we found
out that he had been purchased a couple of weeks prior for $10 from a local
newspaper ad. I found the ad and called who I thought was the original owner
and he had only owned him for one hunting season but the wife did not like a
dog in the house so he sold him. He could not remember the guy he bought
him from. So Saber came into permanent foster care having been in at least
4 homes by the age of 2-3 yo. Saber has been hunted and has great recall
and loved to run like the wind. He is obsessed with birds. He is 95% of the
time a wonderful, typical Vizsla, but he also has some dominance and allergy
issues that are being worked on. He is greatly loved by the Clark family
and he is in the best place he can be until the time is right to make a
decision.
