RED - Story coming
Apr 2015: Red is an 8 yr old purebred vizsla (b. 4/2007), owner surrendered to animal control after escaping from her pen too many times looking for someone to hang out with. She is not a hunter and is very noise shy. Red is good with people, horses and dogs. Until she got to her foster home, she had little experience with other dogs except the ones she lived with so it took her a while to join in the play with the other dogs in her foster home but now she is learning to play. Red might do best in a home with another calm middle-aged dog. She likes kids but has not lived with them and is looking for a quieter home where people can be with her most of the time and provide plenty of exercise. She is a healthy girl, up-to-date on her vaccines, just had a dental and is all tuned up and ready to go to her new home! Red would make a great running partner and couch buddy. She's been crate trained, loves car rides and does well on and off leash. Knows basic commands like sit, off, stay. The foster home is not using a crate with her because she doesn't need it. She's learning to play with the other dogs and people. Red would make a great running partner and couch buddy.
