MANDI

Mandi Magna Manilow (b. 6/30/1999, dam Kal-Cam Jack Daniels Carol, sire Rushton's Pal Zeke) was owner released at 8-yrs to rescue due to family changes. After meeting Mandi, her foster mom Laurie had to go back to work for a few hours so she decided to take Mandi with her rather than take her home and not be there for her. This proved to be a pivotal event in Mandi's life. Mandi got to greet all Laurie's co-workers, one of which spent many moments giving her lovies. Mandi wasn't sure what was happening, but truly appreciated the attention she was getting. Mandi spent a couple weeks with Laurie & Fred, but ended up finding the family/love of her life with Laurie's work supervisor, Colleen (& Rob), who made the "mistake" of telling Laurie they were thinking about adding a dog to their family. Mandi had made a great impression with her new parents-to-be and it has been a match made in heaven.

Oct 2007: Nowadays, Mandi spends her days patrolling her rural property for chipmunks and other critters, riding the four-wheeler with her dad, burying bones in her mom's plants, and just can't get enough petting and belly rubs.

Jan 2009 update: Thought you might enjoy a photo of a dog's life... AAAhhh.
