LACEY

Lacey is an 18-mo old female German shorthaired pointer who was found running loose in rural western Idaho and not claimed. She is a high-energy sweetheart, attentive & friendly, excellent with dogs of all sizes and ages as well as kids and manageable with cats! Housebroken and prefers an easy chair to a floor pillow and is quickly learning basic manners like off and sit. Her favorite toy is another dog to wrestle with and body-slamming is her favorite game. She also has hunting potential and would love a home where she could be a family member first but also get to hunt.

Update Oct 2003: The Hubbards were looking for a dog to make their family complete after the unexpected loss of their 7-yr old vizsla. Lacey was lucky enough to find a ready-made family complete with kids and the experience and patience to appreciate her lively personality. After a few escapes from the yard and some housebreaking issues as she learned the new routines she is settling in well and is enjoying meeting all the kids' friends too! She will never replace Brandy but she should keep things interesting for all and there will never be a dull moment with your little "chocolate vizsla" :)
