Goblin came to us as a stray from a Utah shelter. A volunteer thought he was too nice to let him be put down when no one claimed him, contacted us and kept him safe while we looked for foster space. We didn't have a foster home but Lindsay was willing and able to take a totally unknown dog and work with him so on a Saturday in June Lindsay hopped in her car and drove to Boise while Penny was driving to Utah to pick Goblin up from Ellie's Pet Hotel (thanks again, Phylene!). Between Lindsay's can-do attitude and Goblin's incredible "normalness" we knew this was going to be a perfect match from the git-go.
June 2007: Lindsay reports Goblin is settling in perfectly, getting better on a leash everyday, has met his new vet and loves the dog park. He is also already getting care packages from Grandma and is looking forward to meeting his cousin when they come to visit in a few weeks. Lindsay has already sent the obligatory "bed picture" with promises of more to come. Happing hiking, blading, running and snuggling!
July 2012: We received the sad news this month that Goblin lost a battle with kidney disease in summer 2012. He was much too young to lose at about 7-yrs old. Visit Goblin at The Bridge.
