FRITZ (was FARLEY)
Farley is an approx 1-yr old German shorthaired pointer who was found as a stray in rural southwest Idaho. Some wonderful people took him in while we searched for his owner but after 30+ days with no leads Farely entered our program and is looking for a home. He has got to be the mellowest, most easy-going 1-yr old shorthair on the planet! He will play non-stop for hours but is just as happy to lay at your feet... or preferably your lap. Farley is birdie and not gun-shy but, as always, he must be a family companion first and if he hunts too then all the better. Farley is good with kids, cats and other dogs and always greets you with a toy in his mouth. Farley prefers a home within driving distance of Boise... and one with lots of toys!
Farley met the family of his dreams in March when Barbara & Ken contacted southern Idaho GSP Rescue in their search for a new family member. We couldn't talk them into a vizsla but since we just happened to be fostering one of the sweetest shorthairs on the planet we were able to help them out with a new addition for the family.
Update May 2004: Fritz got a new little sister when Sophie also joined the family.
Update Aug 2004: Fritz & Sophie both got a new little brother when Mini also joined the family.
