DEXTER (NOW LANCE)
On May 7, 1999 I got a call from a local CAMPS volunteer. She told me
that a Vizsla was in the West Valley City shelter. The next day I drove
out to meet the boy. Dexter was a large boy with a natural tail and dew
claws. The shelter waived the adoption fee and we were on the way to
the vet for kennel cough medication.
Dexter got along well with our dogs and loved to play stick. He was
adopted by the Kendalls in Highlands Ranch, CO. They renamed him Lance
and after about 2 months of working with his anxiety they placed him
with friends that live out in the country where he has lots of space.
