Copper is a 12-18 month old Vizsla that was found as a stray in NM. He was picked up from a local shelter and transported to AZ where he got to meet all sorts of new dogs with foster mom Janet. Copper made several friends, both dog and human, as he stayed at www.sitstayplaytucson.com. Copper is neutered, housetrained and a master snuggle boy. He is full of energy but also is eager to learn new things. He will need more work on basic manners and not pulling hard on lead but he is a goofy, silly, happy-happy-happy dog who will make a wonderful addition to most any home.
Aug 2009: Copper found his perfect home in UT. He gets to be on large land, have horses to ride along with and has an energetic new mom and dad. New parents write: What a cool dog! He is FULL of energy but is also a very good napper and cuddler! He is settling in very well - potty trained, a good traveler and even slept on our bed the 1st night in the hotel!
Sep 2009: Copper is doing great, he has gained three pounds and the vet seems pleased with his current weight. We are having a blast with him.
Jan 2010, Tim writes: Happy New Year!!! Here are some winter pictures at a local ski resort. As you can see Copper is having a blast. Nikki and I take Copper everywhere and he seems to be really fitting in well.
Oct 2010, Tim writes: Hope all is well. Things are going great with our new addition. Ruby is laying on Copper after a run. They really seem to pal around together.
