CODY (was COUNTRY)
Jul 2009: Country got the new name of Cody to go with his new life in the mountains of central Idaho. Having had a mastiff previously, Bob & Cyndi thought Cody's 60-lbs was downright petite. He is enjoying his new life hiking and mountain climbing with his new best friends. Cody is also training to be a search and rescue dog. So from a second hand dog, Cody is not only a well-loved family member but also a valuable member of the community where he will be able to give back to those in need. Thanks Bob & Cyndi, for giving our big boy not only a loving home but a job to do as well!
Aug 2009, Bob writes: Just an update for you on Cody. He is doing really well. His training for search and rescue is progressing and he loves it. He sees his halter for training and he gets really excited. We just got back from Idaho Falls and had a training session with Idaho Search and Rescue Dog (ISARD). The trainer was very impressed with Cody. Cody is an official member in training as a rescue dog with ISARD. Thank you trusting us when we first met! We are loving Cody and him us.
