CHEVY

Chevela (Chevy Bear) is a 1-yr old spayed female black lab who was abandoned at a truck stop in Washington state last spring. A Boise trucker noticed her each time he passed through the area and in October, brought it to the attention of some Idaho rescue people. Well, with some great team work, Chevy is now in an IDAWG foster home enjoying the good life...regular meals, a warm place to sleep and a caring human to look after her needs. Now all Chevy needs is a home to call her own! Chevy weighs about 75 pounds, is crate trained and is meticulously housetrained. She loves other dogs and is loving and playful with her foster mom. Chevy is still a little shy around strangers, but is in no way aggressive. She just needs a little time to warm up. If you really want to give a needy dog a good home, please consider Chevy. She's come a long way and has much to offer.
